Little trip to Kalavryta / Ταξιδάκι στα Καλάβρυτα

Today was a public holiday. It's the annunciation of the Virgin Mary and Independence day. A great excuse for an outing with a nice drive through the mountains to Kalavryta, coffee and cake, a traditional lunch of fried cod and skordalia and finished off with mountain tea. Plenty of people had the same idea. I managed to squeeze in a basic sketch at one of my favourite cafes. Across the street is the town's museum.

Γιορτινή μέρα σήμερα. Από τους ξύλινους λόγους στην Αγία Λαύρα καταλήξαμε σε ένα ωραίο καφενείο στα Καλάβρυτα απέναντι από το μουσείο της πόλης. Στο μουσείο αν δεν έχετε πάει και βρεθείτε στα Καλάβρυτα μην το αμελήσετε. Το επιβάλουν οι καιροί. Ένα σκιτσάκι στα γρήγορα το κατόρθωσα πριν ακολουθήσει το πρόγραμμα τις ημέρας με βακαλάο και σκορδαλιά.
