This is a tiny section of the town's very very long waterfront. The old decaying building was once part of the railway. I'm guessing it was once a loading bay for local produce from the late 19th century onwards. There's a cafe on the top floor of the port's terminal building with majestic views in all directions. Only it's now too cold to sit outside. Something to look forward to.
